My therapies

Reflexology

Reflexology is a complementary therapy that applies pressure and a massaging motion to areas on the face, feet, or hands to encourage deep relaxation.

We all have stresses and strains; this form of therapy can help reduce stress levels and aid the removal of negativity which can help with:

  • A sense of wellbeing
  • Aid sleep
  • Improvements in mood
  • A general sense of calm
  • Hormone imbalance

There are many links to how Reflexology can help in medical situations, it is one of the most popular types of complementary therapies in the UK among people with cancer. You can read more on this at the Cancer Research website.

The origins of Reflexology

Modern Reflexology is based on an ancient form of therapy. There is evidence of some form of foot and hand therapy being practised in China as long ago as 2330 B.C. and at the same time in Egypt, as depicted in the tomb of Ankmahor.

Trust in this long-standing form of therapy and release your mind and body of all stresses and strains.

Reiki

Reiki is an energy-based healing process which channels universal energy to provide the treatment, which I can offer in person or via distance healing.

Some of the benefits of Reiki are:

  • Creates deep relaxation and aids the body to release stress and tension.
  • Accelerates the body’s self-healing abilities.
  • Aids better sleep.
  • Removes energy blockers, adjusts the energy flow of the endocrine systems balancing the body.
  • Assist the body in cleaning itself from toxins.
  • Supports the immune systems.
  • Help spiritual growth and emotional clearing.

Enhancements with Crystals

Energy is all around us vibrating at different rates.

Crystals draw up healing energy from the earth, while Reiki draws down universal energy from above, which means they complement each other excellently.

  • Adding crystals to your treatment will harness the ability of the crystal to hold various constant levels of energy vibration, these are then used to balance energy fields in the body.

Indian head massage

Also known as champissage, originated in India focuses on massaging acupressure points along the head, face, neck and shoulders, using gentle and soothing circular massaging.

There are many benefits as well as being very relaxing it also:

  • Releases tension in the head and neck area and relieves muscle stiffness.
  • Renews and balances energy levels by working with the higher chakras.
  • Stimulates lymphatic drainage by circulating blood to the neck area.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is a wonderful addition to my other treatments using natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being.

By using these natural oils, by massage, the oils are absorbed by the skin and sent around the body boosting circulation and relaxation.

Some benefits of adding this service are:

  • It helps calm and relax.
  • Stimulate and refreshes.
  • Maintain healthy joints and muscles.
  • Revive both mind and body.
